Properties:
Elaskon UBS bright is a waxy corrosion inhibitor. The protective coating is plastic and tough, non-sticky and has excellent adhesion. The product provides effective protection against water and dirt, stone chips and chemical de-icing agents. When dry, the product is compatible with electrical cables, plastics and sealing materials. There are no known negative influences. Experience has shown that even short-term exposure to the solvent contained has no effect.
Storage:
In the original closed container at least 1 year.
Processing instructions:
Elaskon UBS bright should be applied in thin layers using a pressure cup gun in conjunction with a Flat jet angle nozzle can be applied (e.g. VAUPEL pressure cup gun 3000 DVR incl. cavity spray set 3900 WHSK). Recommended working pressure: 3 bar. Air/material mixing ratio 60/40. The surfaces must be cleaned of rust and dirt (ISO 8501-1, St2). The temperature of the surface of the workpiece to be treated must be at least 3 °C above the dew point. Processing temperature is room temperature. Elaskon UBS bright is processed in the delivery condition. Stir before use and shake spray bottles well.
DIN 5510-2 'Burning behavior and side effects of fire of materials and components - Classification, requirements and test methods' does not impose any requirements on temporary corrosion protection agents of this type.
The product is only available in an aerosol can intended for professional users!
